Which first aid course do you need in Carlisle?

Who is workplace first aid training for?


Every employer in Great Britain has to provide first aid cover, and there is no minimum staff threshold (HSE). How much cover you need comes from your own needs assessment.

Our workplace courses are designed to meet HSE guidance on first aid training and support your duty under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Clinical content follows Resuscitation Council UK Guidelines 2025.

Paediatric courses meet the paediatric first aid criteria in Annex A of the EYFS statutory framework, which is the certificate inspectors ask to see at an Ofsted inspection.

Every delegate receives a FAIB accredited certificate. Where a regulated qualification is required, for tenders, inspections or funding conditions, the Ofqual route through Qualsafe Awards is available on request.
